Mandala Prize for Law 2027

The Mandala Prize is part of the Student Achievement awards for a Law student enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws course at Swinburne University who has overcome hardship to succeed.

This $2,000 prize is generously supported by Sharpe and Abel and other donors to Swinburne University.

Applicants must be: 

• Australian citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Permanent Resident with Humanitarian Visa
• International student

Applicants must:

• be a continuing Swinburne student in Semester 1, 2027
• enrolled in an eligible course.
• have completed a minimum of 100 credit points in LAW coded LLB units

Applications will be assessed based on:

• achievement of an average mark of at least 70 in LAW coded LLB units
• educational disadvantage

This scholarship is related to the following study areas:

Personal statement

Submit a 2 minute video or personal statement of up to 500 words addressing:

• commitment to study
• career aspirations in Law

Cover letter

Provide a cover letter addressing all enrolment and selection criteria and outlining your eligibility for the prize.
